Residential Specialist: Nuevo Dia, PRN

Reports To: Residential Manager

Residential Specialists plan and execute client activities, help maintain a drug-free environment, provide life skills, resident life training and 12-step education, monitor/document interventions, and respond to emergencies. Must be able to write and speak English and have the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse population. High school diploma, experience in a residential setting and bilingual (Spanish/English). Open until filled.  

 

Residential Specialists: Phoenix, PRN

Reports to: Residential Coordinator

Residential Specialists are needed to plan and execute client activities, interpret intake processes and participate in ensuring personal program needs are met. Will also help maintain drug-free environment, provide life skills/resident life training and 12-step education. Other responsibilities include monitoring/documenting intervention and responding to medical/psychiatric/behavioral emergencies. Must have the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse population. High school diploma and experience in a residential setting essential. Computer skills helpful. Residential Specialists: Demeter Virginia, Part-Time and PRN

Reports to: Residential Supervisor

DVA is searching for individuals to work in their women w/children program, to execute client activities, interpret intake processes and ensure program needs are met. Maintain a drug-free environment. HS diploma and experience in a residential setting essential. Open until filled.

 

Residential Specialists: Lawrence Court Halfway House, Part-Time and PRN

Reports To: Program Manager

Lawrence Court is seeking Residential Specialists for Transitional living program serving adults. Plan and execute client activities and participate in ensuring personal program needs are met. Requires High School diploma and 1 year experience in an addiction treatment setting. Dependent upon contract. Open until filled.

 

Primary Counselor: Vanguard Counseling Center, Part-Time and PRN

Reports To: Director of Clinical Operations

Successful candidate will provide assessments, admissions, group and individual counseling, discharge planning and life/employment skills education and coordination. Must have excellent writing skills and be able to effectively write and follow treatment plans. BS/BA preferred and 2 year in a treatment setting. CSAC eligible in 1 yr. Open until filled.

 

Nurse: Demeter Virginia, Part-Time

Reports to: Program Manager

PT R.N needed for women with children residential program. Will oversee medical needs of clients, manage sick calls, do medication documentation audits, provide training and make referrals. Licensed RN; requires experience in occupational health. Only 6 hours per week. Open until filled.

  

Nurse – Phoenix Program, Full - Time

Reports to:  Clinical Manager

This position is responsible for the coordination of medical and psychiatric care for the residents of an addiction program.  The nurse will maintain relationships with consulting physicians, oversee the medical/psychiatric needs of residents,  manage sick call, conduct initial H &P, provide training to clients and staff, perform medication documentation audits, participate on infection control committee, oversee  Universal Precaution Procedures and make needed referrals.  Occupational Health and Clinic management experience would be helpful. Must have current Registered Nurse license; with a minimum of two years experience. Open until filled.

 

Residential Specialist – Boy Recovery Lodge Full-Time, Part-Time and PRN

Reports To: Residential Supervisor

Residential Specialists to work with youth in substance abuse treatment facility. Successful candidate will assist with residential activities and program. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and experience in a treatment setting. Open until filled.

 

Residential Specialist – Girls Recovery Lodge, PRN

Reports To: Residential Supervisor

Residential Specialists to work with youth in substance abuse treatment facility. Successful candidate will assist with residential activities and program. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and experience in a treatment setting. Open until filled.

 

Residential Specialists: Independence House, Part-Time, 24 hours

Reports To: Program Manager

Independence House is seeking a p art time Residential Specialists for their Transitional living program serving adults. Plan and execute client activities and participate in ensuring personal program needs are met. Requires High School diploma and 1 year experience in an addiction treatment setting. This position is every other weekend Saturday and Sunday 12 hours per day. Dependent upon contract. Open until filled.

 

Primary Counselor: Demeter Virginia, Full-Time

Reports To: Program Director

Successful candidate will provide assessments, admissions, group and individual counseling, discharge planning and life/employment skills education and coordination. Must have excellent writing skills and be able to effectively write and follow treatment plans. MA, MS or MSW in Human Service field a plus and 2 years experience in a treatment setting preferred; licensed or licensed eligible.  Open until filled.  

 

Primary Counselor: LCHH, Part- Time

Reports To: Program Director

Successful candidate will provide assessments, admissions, group and individual counseling, discharge planning and life/employment skills education and coordination. Must have excellent writing skills and be able to effectively write and follow treatment plans. 2 years experience in a treatment setting preferred, certification a must. Open until filled.

 Teacher: Girls Recovery Lodge, Full-Time

Reports To: Program Manager

Special Education Teacher for its adolescent facility in Virginia. The Teacher will oversee school curriculum and programs, student information and ensure IEP requirements are met. May instruct various subjects including English, Math, Science, History, and other related course load. Will liaison for team meetings and share agency information. Requires BS/BA in education or related field and proper certifications/license to teach. Must have passion to integrate viable curriculum for substance abuse adolescents and 2 to 5 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and or experience. Open until filled.  

Clinical/Counseling Supervisor: Boys and Girls Recovery Lodge, Full-Time

Reports To: Clinical Director

The perfect match would be a dynamic and energetic problem solver to work with the Program Manager to supervise the clinical aspects of the adolescent residential services.  Would deal with case management, treatment and discharge planning, managed care reviews, treatment plan reviews and related client activities.  Requires MS /MA in counseling or a related field. VA license a must or Nursing CNS. Prefer exp w/SA, adolescents and supervisory experience.  Salary base: $52,000 with generous additional pay for education, experience and license. Open until filled.
